Client Fee & Insurance
Transparent pricing and flexible options, so taking the next step feels a little easier.
Accepting Insurance
I'm proud to be in-network with several major insurance providers through Headway, making quality therapy more accessible for those who want to use their benefits. Headway serves as my billing platform, handling insurance verification and claims submission so you can focus on what matters most — showing up for yourself.
Currently accepted insurance plans:
Aetna
Quest Behavioral Health
Cigna
Ascension (SmartHealth)
Carelon Behavioral Health
Insurance coverage varies by plan. I encourage you to verify your mental health benefits before your first appointment. The good news? You can get an instant estimate directly from my Headway profile — no phone calls or guesswork required.
Self-Pay Rates
For clients who prefer not to use insurance, whose plans I don’t accept, or want additional flexibility, self-pay options are available.
55-minute session rates:
$120 for individuals
$140 for couples/families
$185 for individuals or couples/families that require sessions outside of normal business hours (Monday-Thursday 10 am - 6 pm).
Current clients, your rate remains unchanged.
Please note: If I do not accept your insurance, you may still be eligible for out-of-network benefits. Check with your provider. If you are, I can provide you with a superbill to file with your insurance provider for reimbursement of your paid sessions.
A Note on Using Your Benefits
Using insurance can make therapy significantly more affordable, and I want you to have access to the support you deserve. One thing to be aware of: when billing through insurance, I am required to provide a mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your permanent medical record. This is a standard requirement for all insurance-based mental health services — not unique to my practice — but it's something worth considering as you decide what's right for you.
If privacy is a priority, or if you're coming to therapy for personal growth, relationship enrichment, or life transitions rather than a clinical concern, self-pay may be a better fit. Either way, I'm here to help you think through what makes the most sense for your situation. Feel free to reach out with any questions before booking.
