Relationship Issues & Communication
When the Connection Feels Broken
You love the people in your life — but lately, something feels off. The conversations that used to be easy feel loaded. The things you try to say don't land the way you mean them. Or maybe you've stopped saying certain things at all, because it's just not worth the fight.
Relationship difficulties don't always look like dramatic conflict. Sometimes they look like distance, silence, or the slow accumulation of unspoken hurt. Whether you're struggling in your marriage, a friendship, a family relationship, or with your own patterns in relationships, therapy can help.
I work with individuals and couples dealing with recurring arguments that never fully resolve, feeling unheard, unseen, or misunderstood, difficulty expressing needs or setting limits, patterns of withdrawal or emotional shutdown, trust issues or fear of vulnerability, and relationships that feel more draining than nourishing.
Much of this work is rooted in understanding attachment — the deep emotional wiring that shapes how we connect with others and what we do when connection feels threatened. Through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we'll explore what's driving the patterns and find new ways to reach for the people who matter.
Better relationships are possible. They require honesty, courage, and a willingness to do something different. That's what therapy is for.
If your relationships aren't working the way you want them to, let's figure out why — and what to do about it.
